Resource Deliveries
We take great care in packaging your goods and aim to deliver resource ONLY mail orders within 5 working days of receiving your order. Your order will arrive with DPD, our delivery partner. A next day delivery service may be available if required. Please phone the Sales Team before 12noon on 01422 311314 to discuss your needs. The team will do their best to help you.
Furniture Deliveries
Large orders, and orders containing large items such as furniture, are delivered by our inhouse, Early Excellence Delivery Team. We aim to deliver within 10 working days of receiving your order, although this may be longer during busy periods. Our Sales Team will be in touch to discuss delivery dates and access information with you, and if you have an urgent deadline please let them know and they will do their best to help. All large items and furniture arrive ready assembled or are assembled by our delivery drivers on site.
Delivery Charges
Delivery charges vary dependent on the size and value of your order and are applied at checkout. There is no minimum order value.

Mainland UK, Non-Mainland UK & International Delivery
Orders placed online can only be delivered to Mainland UK. For Non Mainland UK please contact our Sales Team on +44 (0) 1422 311314 or via email here
Non Mainland UK locations and international locations will incur an additional delivery charge, which will be confirmed at point of order acknowledgement.
- Mainland Post codes in England, Wales and Scotland excluding all areas listed in our definition of ‘non UK mainland’ below.

Delivery & Installation of Complete Classrooms & Room Plan Products to UK Mainland only
We offer a personalised service for the delivery of complete classrooms, complete area sets and room plan products with help to assemble your furniture and locate resources in each area. There is a charge for this service of £150.00 (+VAT) to UK Mainland only for orders up to a value of £20,000 (+VAT). Orders over £20,000 (+VAT) are charged at £200.00 (+VAT) to Mainland UK only. For Non UK Mainland & International Orders, shipping and installation is quoted separately.
Delivery & Installation of Outdoor Stores to UK Mainland only
The small and large outdoor stores are fully assembled and installed onsite by our delivery team. Please note that you MUST have prepared, prior to installation, a firm, flat and level base in either concrete, tarmac or flagstones. Dimensions for the base can be found online or through our Sales Team. There is a charge for this service of £150.00 (+VAT) to UK Mainland only for orders up to a value of £20,000 (+VAT). Orders over £20,000 (+VAT) are charged at £200.00 (+VAT) to Mainland UK only. For Non UK Mainland & International Orders, shipping and installation is quoted separately.
Early Excellence Returns Policy
We hope that you will be pleased with your purchases from Early Excellence. To help you to get the most from your products please refer to the ‘Product Care & Safety Guidance’ which contains useful tips, advice and general safety information about your purchase.
Unwanted or Incorrect Items
If you change your mind about your purchases or receive an incorrect item, you have 10 working days from receipt in which to inform us and arrange collection / return. This can be done via email or telephone. Items must be returned in their original packaging, in a condition suitable for resale. They must be complete with all accessories and documentation in order to receive a full refund. We will not accept items returned without prior authorisation or in a condition unfit for resale. The cost of returning unwanted items is paid for by the customer. The cost of returning incorrect items is paid for by Early Excellence.Items Damaged in Transit
If any items are damaged in transit, we ask that you inform us by email or by telephone within 10 working days from receipt. If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, you should sign the carrier’s delivery note accordingly. If the item has been delivered to you by our own delivery driver, please return the goods with him/her immediately.Items MUST be returned unused and in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. On receipt of goods, we will issue a replacement or full refund via your original payment method and reimburse you any reasonable return carriage costs.
Faulty Items
If after opening your items you find that they are faulty, you must report the fault to us by email or by telephone within 10 working days from receipt. These goods will then be investigated by our team. Items should be returned with their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we’ll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs.If a returned item is found to be damaged due to inappropriate or misuse by the customer, or because the recommended guidelines have not been followed, we reserve the right to refuse refund, replacement, or reimbursement of carriage. We will investigate with the customer to ascertain how the damage occurred and where appropriate, advice will be provided to the customer on the correct use.
Please Note:
- When returning items by courier, the item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
- Where the item is damaged due to a fault of the product or has been damaged during delivery, the cost of returning the item will be reimbursed. When you contact us to report the damage or fault, we may offer to send a returns label to assist with the products return.
- Where the item is found to be damaged due to inappropriate use/misuse, the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
