The Mobile Double Sided Shelving & Book Unit with Basket Set has been designed as a ready-made storage solution to organise classroom resources within the reading area or book area across EYFS and KS1 classrooms.
Featuring dual functionality, the shelving unit offers seagrass basket storage on one side and a book display on the other. Front facing shelving provides a solution for displaying children’s books and the low shelf with deep, rectangular baskets at the bottom of the unit is ideal for storing hand puppets and finger puppets to bring stories to life and enhance children’s reading experiences.
Lightweight and durable, the natural seagrass baskets come in small, medium, and large sizes, alongside a practical A4 tray, making it easy for children to access and transport items. The deep striped baskets provide additional space for storing puppets, props, or other reading-related resources.
The flexible storage unit with baskets allows you to rapidly organise your continuous provision resources relating to the reading area, such as small world resources, to encourage independent storytelling and support language development.
By creating an organised environment, children will be able to independently select their chosen books and props with confidence, giving them more time to play, learn and explore.

Please Note: Children must have adequate supervision at all times and must not climb on the unit. Ensure all heavy items are stored at the bottom of the unit and that the unit isn’t overfull.
All four locking devices should be fully engaged at all times when the unit is stationary, and the locking devices must only be released when the unit is being moved. ONLY Staff/Teachers are to move the unit. Make sure all items are removed from the shelves before moving the unit.
